Infrastructure and Labs


A Modern and strong infrastructure is necessary for students to gain cutting edge knowledge and experience. One of our most important resources is the talent, skill and knowledge of our people, who are organized into various laboratories in the college. Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College is continuing to provide fundamentals of experimentation in various laboratories. The college has its own a grade constructed building with spacious Classrooms, sprawling lawns, a seminar room with audio visual aids, One auditorium ,well planned laboratories on the campus which are Equipped with the models and instruments. The Home Science, Computer Science and Geography laboratories are well equipped with modern essential gadgets and adequate space.


Support Services



A well equipped library under the supervision of well trained librarian has been set up with lot of books on almost every subject. The weekly and monthly Magazines Journals , Daily
Newspapers (Eng., Hindi, Punjabi) are available for the students to development the habit of gaining general knowledge and to keep themselves in touch with the latest development in the world. It has user friendly corner and cabin and spaces which servers as reading room.

Pantry and Cafeteria

Proper nutritious food, snacks, etc. are provided to the students, if required, on payment basis in cafeteria or pantry.

Uniform and Books

All the students are required to attend the college only in proper and prescribed uniform which is issued by the college. Also text books and stationary is provided to the students on reasonable rates so that the students may not face any

Medical and Health Care

The college has a full time qualified Doctor for the first aid facilities to the students. Serious illness is attended with utmost care and there are regular medical check ups of the students from near by

Hospital, Sri Gurusar Modia.

Educational Tours

Students are taken on short duration tours under the guidance of their tutors in order to break the monotony of routine life and see the outside world beyond the four walls of their college and homes. By such tours students gather 
sufficient knowledge about antiquity of ancient India. These tours are arranged at least once during the academic session and are compulsory for students.
